Jim works with business owners, corporate executives, entrepreneurs, and professional athletes. Jim develops meaningful and collaborative relationships to assess their planning, investment management, and estate planning needs. Jim sees himself as his clients’ financial quarterback leveraging Raymond James comprehensive platform in financial planning, portfolio management and credit solutions. Jim has a life-long interest in the investment markets having bought his first stock at the age of 16 and seeks out unique, investment insights through his talented clients and professional network.
Before joining our team, Jim was a Managing Director at JPMorgan Securities, Inc in Boston from 2008-2018. Previously, he was a Managing Director and fixed income specialist at Bear Stearns in Boston where he worked with insurance companies, state funds, family offices, and other institutional accounts. He joined the Bristol Wealth Group/Raymond James in 2018.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the College of the Holy Cross and served for many years on the President’s Council. In addition, for the last 12 years, he has served on the investment committee for the United Way of Massachusetts Bay/Merrimack Valley.
Jim is active in his community having coached his sons on many teams for Lincoln Youth Soccer and Sudbury Baseball. His son, Ryan, recently retired from baseball having played professional baseball for the Oakland Athletics and had a very successful college career at Hamilton College. His younger son, Harrison, is also an aspiring ball player and Jim can be often found on a baseball diamond during his personal time.
An avid wine collector and reader, Jim also enjoys golf and fishing with his boys during quiet hours. Originally from Brockton, MA, he lives with wife, Sonja, and his family in Lincoln, MA.
